Echinacea Purpurea

Echinacea is a Native American plant from the Compositae family. Echinacea became very famous in Europe and Echinacea scientific name is Echinacea Purpurea or Echinacea Angustifolia. Echinacea is one of the most popular herbal medicines and used in Europe and the United States in the prevention of colds and flu. It is the most researched plant immunostimulant in the world. American Indians were the first to use this plant. Became known to European botanists in 1690.

Each botle contains 60 tablets of 160mg of a 20:1 extract equivalent to 3200mg of dried herb.

The immune system is responsible for keeping us alive, protected and insulated from the thousands of microorganisms that every day invade our bodies and expose us to all sorts of diseases. There are several factors in our daily life that can disrupt our body and immune system, such as stress of modern life, pollution and abuse of drugs. And the most important indication of Echinacea is to act as an immunostimulant, increasing the body's defence in patients undergoing chemotherapy and preventing infections and diseases temporary, such as flu, colds, abscesses, bronchitis, and sore throat, among others. Mechanism of Action: The Echinacea works as immunostimulant by several mechanisms: stimulation of phagocytosis, stimulation of cytokine release and inhibition of hyaluronidase activity. Studies have shown that a principle of the Echinacea, the heteroxilano active phagocytosis, and another arabinogalactan cause proliferation of T lymphocytes, and promotes interleukin 1 and interferon-ß2 macrophages. Collectively, these properties of Echinacea may increase the overall level of the body's resistance to infection.

Benefits of Echinacea:

  • Stimulates the production of white blood cells;
  • Operates with a natural antibiotic;
  • Accelerates the rehabilitation of the body;
  • Anti-inflammatory effect;
  • Fight viruses;
  • Fighting Candida

Main uses of Echinacea:
